exphar laboratories took part in the 12th Scientific Congress of the Cameroonian Society of Cardiology held in conjunction with the 1st Congress of the Association of West and Central African Cardiology Societies from 10 to 12 March 2021 in Douala (Cameroon).
exphar organised and moderated a symposium on “Control of Hypertension on Africans: Mono or Multi Therapy? Free or fixed combination? “with the following speakers:
Moderator: Dr Yves MONKAM
Keynote speaker : Pr Anastase DZUDIE
2nd Speaker : Dr Marie-Solange NDOM
Exphar representative: Dr Jules AKONGUHI
After the intervention of Dr NDOM who presented an interactive clinical case, Prof. Dzudié then took the floor to compare scientific evidence with international recommendations. The management of hypertension in African populations is a sensitive and actual topic. The protocol must be tailor-made and because of that, many patients on triple therapy do not always have access to treatment due to the high cost of fixed combinations.
At this event, exphar was able to present its latest product – CARDIOVALAM H – a triple therapy at social cost for the benefit of patients.
